What we do?

Fixing crowns, building legacies

In 2021, a group of Black women in the Greater Toronto Area turned a pandemic-era meetup into something bigger: a collective that responds to the real barriers Black women face in business. What started as a place to share resources and honest advice is now a national movement focused on mentorship, access, and mutual uplift. When one crown is fixed, we all stand taller.

Support inside the Black Women Collective is designed to meet you where you are and grow with you as your business evolves. Whether you are in the early stages of building or looking to expand what you have already created, you are not expected to figure it out alone.

Our offers are built around the real needs we hear from Black women founders every day. They are designed to give you clarity, access, and consistent support so you can move forward with confidence.

Inside the Collective, you will find:

A structured, cohort-based experience where you receive guidance, accountability, and strategy to help you grow your business with intention. This is a space where you are supported consistently and where your progress is not left to chance.
Access to mentors who understand your path because they have walked it themselves. This is not surface-level advice, but grounded support from women who can help you navigate challenges, make decisions, and expand what feels possible.
Opportunities to build meaningful relationships with other founders, collaborators, and partners. These are not just spaces to connect, but spaces where real opportunities, partnerships, and growth can emerge.

What Is The Collective

The Black Women Collective is a space designed to support Black women entrepreneurs in away that is both practical and deeply human. It exists to ensure that you have access to the tools, relationships, and knowledge you need to build a sustainable and successful business.

Inside the Collective, you are supported as a whole person, not just as a founder. The focus is not only on growth, but on building in a way that is aligned, supported, and sustainable.

We are here to help you do the work without the weight.

I was a little hesitant about coaching at first, but Allison has brought out a level of awareness in me that I didn’t realize I was missing. She truly took the time to understand how I process information and adapted her style to fit mine. The progress we’ve made is incredible, and the work she is doing with the Black Woman’s Collective is a well-needed light in our community. Job well done!

I loved the attention to detail noted throughout the weekend. It was evident that the Host presented a space that showed special care and attention to the needs, requirements, and requests that were learned about each of the ladies beforehand. I also really enjoyed interactive components (the make-a-mocktail moment, the drumming session, the body care/body butter workshop, the releasing by the water, etc, etc, etc...), allowing all the queens to come together and engage in meaningful ways. Lastly, THE SISTERHOOD! The Sisterhood cultivated this weekend was just beautiful to experience and is very much cherished.

The personal chef and I walk to the lake and have conversations with all the amazing ladies. Transparent conversations and soul connections established by the other women.

Everything was fabulous!

I cannot think of a single thing. It was all organic. The flow was perfect

  • High Recommendation: All three respondents would recommend the retreat to a friend, with two explicitly stating "Yes" and one responding, "Absolutely."
  • Reasons for Recommendation: The retreat is considered necessary for disrupting the mundane day-to-day routine, allowing attendees to take time for themselves to recharge, and connecting with like-minded beautiful black queens.
