Kevin McKenzie
Kevin McKenzie is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with over 20 years' experience in the commercial cleaning and facilities management industry. He is the Founder and Director of The KleanTeam Ltd, a Mayfair-based cleaning company established in 2004 that serves Central London. Under his leadership, it has managed major contracts for large multi-tenanted buildings, earning a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence. Before this, he spent 13 years at Sony Music as a Record Company Executive and Head of Archiving.
Beyond business, Kevin is committed to community service and education. Since 2014, he has served as a Trustee of The Platanos College Trust Board, where he is Deputy Chair. He co-runs BME TV, a charity promoting opportunities for Black and minority ethnic people in media. A Freeman of the City of London, he is also a member of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.
Charmayne Brown
Over sixty-four years, Charmayne Brown has accumulated skills, expertise, and experiences that have greatly enriched her personal and professional journey. Born in Great Britain in 1961, she immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1963 and grew up in a close-knit Caribbean community in Toronto. That sense of community has endured, fostering a deep appreciation for social bonds and community development. Her thirty-year career in Social Sciences, Community Development, and Social Justice has been driven by a passion to create positive change.
As a dedicated mother and wife, she has balanced her personal and professional life while nurturing others. Today, she advocates for Black women understanding how fitness and nutrition shape a life of vitality and purpose. She believes the body is a gift, a temple that deserves honour. As a TBWC board member, she empowers women to share their stories and reach their full potential.
Kemba Williams
Kemba Williams is a real estate investor, financial professional, and community leader with over 15 years of experience across real estate development, financial services, and strategic project management. A proud mom and wife living in Etobicoke, she serves on the Black Women's Collective board. She believes mindset matters, but it cannot dismantle the systemic barriers our communities face. She has seen these barriers in banking, where access to capital is uneven, and in housing development, where funding can determine whether projects proceed.
She has led housing initiatives securing over $1.7 million in funding and mentored more than ten families in property investment and generational wealth creation. She values the Collective's shared approach to overcoming limitations and changing the systems that hold us back. Kemba holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario, completed FutureBUILDS training at the University of Toronto, and is a licensed REALTOR®.
Keron Green
Keron Green is a dedicated financial professional and community advocate with over a decade of experience supporting small businesses across Ontario. As a certified QuickBooks Online expert and skilled bookkeeper, she has built a reputation for helping entrepreneurs gain clarity and confidence in their finances through accurate reporting and practical guidance. Keron is passionate about empowering business owners with the tools and knowledge they need to grow sustainably.
Beyond her professional work, Keron is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Her involvement with nonprofit initiatives reflects her belief in creating opportunities and driving positive change at the local level. As a board member, she brings strong financial oversight, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset. Keron is focused on ensuring transparency, accountability, and long-term impact, helping organizations fulfill their mission while maintaining sound financial practices.
Jacqueline Blair
Jacqueline Blair is a seasoned community advocate, wealth strategist, and systems thinker dedicated to shifting paradigms around financial empowerment, leadership, and legacy for women. With over a decade of experience in the social work sector supporting families through financial crises, she brings a deeply empathetic, ground-level understanding of the systemic barriers affecting marginalized communities. Her path also includes nearly two decades as an inflight safety auditor for a major airline, which honed her mastery of high-stakes compliance, operational systems, and risk management.
As a business strategist and coach, she helps individuals dismantle money mindsets and build generational wealth identities. As a Black Women Collective board member, she applies her blend of auditing principles and wealth-legacy frameworks to champion economic equity and leadership. She is passionate about creating spaces where Black women can redefine success, claim their authority, and establish financial blueprints for their families and communities.
Dan Lawrence CPA, CMA
Dan Lawrence's corporate career spanned over 30 years at United Van Lines (Canada) Ltd., an international member-owned organization in the transportation industry, where he held various leadership roles in finance, operations, IT, marketing and general management, culminating as President of the organization. As a CPA, Dan approaches business with a strong financial perspective while fostering relationships that drive organizational success. His experience in negotiating with professional services firms, financial institutions, and insurance companies has saved the organization hundreds of thousands of dollars.
More recently, Dan is devoting his time to giving back through teaching at Sheridan College Pilon School of Business, leading a not-for-profit organization as both a Board Director and Executive Director, and building a CEO Peer Group with TEC Canada. On a personal level, Dan is a family man leading an active lifestyle, playing hockey, mountain biking, and spending time at the family cottage.
